David Robbins
Mr. Robbins has worked in the affordable housing industry for over 25 years. He is a Registered Representative with Compass Securities Corporation and is located in Marblehead, MA.
Prior to founding STCI, Mr. Robbins worked for MMA Financial and its predecessor companies, Lend Lease and Boston Financial. From 2001 through 2009, Mr. Robbins was the head of institutional sales at MMA Financial, one of the largest sponsors of affordable housing in the country, and was responsible for raising more than $4 billion of LIHTC equity. His responsibilities including raising equity for both unguaranteed and guaranteed LIHTC funds as well as solar tax credit funds. Mr. Robbins’ responsibilities also included oversight of the sales and fund management team, and managing their third-party broker dealer network.
Before 2001, Mr. Robbins lead Lend Lease’s Investment Valuation Group, the firm’s real estate consulting group that provides property and market specific analysis for the affordable housing tax credit business unit. Over his 11 years in the group, he was responsible for underwriting and evaluating the feasibility of Low Income Housing Tax Credit properties in 42 U.S. states.
Mr. Robbins was formerly a certified General Appraiser in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and an MAI Candidate in the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Robbins was a member of the Board of Directors of the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition from 2007 until mid-2009. He has been a panelist speaker for the National Council of State Housing Finance Agencies; and a contributing columnist for the New England Real Estate Journal. Mr. Robbins graduated with a BS in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.
Brian Rajotte
Mr. Rajotte has worked in the affordable housing industry for 18 years, he joined STCI in the spring of 2014. He is a Registered Representative with Compass Securities Corporation and is located in Bend, OR.
Prior to joining STCI, Mr. Rajotte worked for Boston Financial Investment Management (BFIM) and its predecessor companies. From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Rajotte worked in various capacities at BFIM. The majority of his time was spent in Investor Relations and Syndications. During the sale of BFIM, Mr. Rajotte worked on the Corporate Finance team as a business analyst, assisting in the sale of the company to new ownership. He then began working on process initiatives and numerous special projects under the direction of the CFO.
In the summer of 2011, he joined CREA, (fka City Real Estate Advisors) as a member of the acquisition team in Portland, OR. At the time of his departure in 2014, he was an Assistant Vice President and a key contributor managing critical developer relationships.
Mr. Rajotte graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Business with a BS in Real Estate and Urban Economics, he received his MBA in Sustainable Business Practices from the University of Oregon.
